An initiative by the United Arab Emirates Embassy in London, the UAE – UK Pioneers Forum is aimed at connecting Emirati students studying in the UK and EU with the most prestigious employers seeking bright and ambitious young people looking for employment.

We believe in encouraging and investing in young people to promote the successful and ever-growing economy of the UAE. The UAE represents a frontier of great possibility for young talent, making this year’s one day event a must-attend event for all aspiring Emiratis studying in the UK and the EU.

+What is the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum?

Initiated by the United Arab Emirates Embassy in London, the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum has been created to give Emirati students studying in the UK and EU a chance to interact with business leaders from both the UAE and the UK to showcase the career opportunities available within the UAE.

+Who can attend the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum?

The UAE-UK Pioneers Forum is for undergraduate and graduates students of Emirati nationality studying in the UK and EU.

+Do I have to register to attend the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum?

Registration is mandatory. Registering your place is easy and shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to complete. Please bring with you your confirmation email that you will have received after completing your online registration. +Where does the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum take place?

The UAE-UK Pioneers Forum will be hosted at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, 200 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7UT. For further directions please follow the Journey Planner.

+What are the TALKS about?

The UAE-UK Pioneers Forum Talks will showcase a range of speakers and presentations specifically prepared by industry leaders within the UAE providing you special insights to benefit your career and professional goals and aspirations. It will be a unique opportunity for you to gain an understanding and knowledge on employability skills that are most sought out by UAE employers. The theme of this year’s event is sustainability with an emphasis on the EXPO 2020.

+How do I register my place for the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum TALKS?

The TALKS will be open to all students who have registered and have been granted entry to the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum. These will take place in an enclosed space in the center of the exhibition space and do not require you to book a place. However, places are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

+Is the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum only for undergraduates?

No, the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum welcomes both undergraduates and graduates seeking employment in the UAE.

+What are the start and finish times of the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum?

The UAE-UK Pioneers Forum is a one-day event and will be open from 10:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday 12th March 2016.

+Do I need to bring copies of my CV?

We recommend that you bring several copies of your CV and business card with you if you have one.  When networking and meeting with exhibitor representatives, providing them with your CV and/or business card will enable them to remember you for further communication. You will be meeting people who can be very helpful in kick starting your career, therefore make sure you have enough paperwork to give out to all relevant people.

+What is the dress code?

There is no dress code for the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum. However you are hoping to impress a potential future employer and will be networking with UAE and UK top industry leaders. We recommend you dress smartly. Many of the exhibitors’ representatives will be in business attire. 

+What do I need to bring with me to grant me access to the UAE-UK Pioneers Forum?

Please bring with you a printed or digital copy of your confirmation email you will have received after completing the online registration, along with proof of identification to confirm your eligibility. You will need to present this at the event registration desk upon arrival.
